Pete Davidson and his former SNL costar, Colin Jost bought the decommissioned Staten Island Ferry boat in April 2022. The two comedians joined a group of investors to bid on the ferry for $280,000 in an auction earlier this year. 

Reportedly, the duo is planning on turning their new splurge into a floating entertainment venue.

According to Women’s Health, in 2002, during Celine’s three-year residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, she purchased a humidifier for $2 million. The humidifier was installed above the stage to “preserve her singing voice in the harsh desert climate.” 

As a wedding gift to his bride, Tom bought Katie a $20 million private jet. According to Cosmopolitan, a source said at the time, “Tom wanted to come up with the most amazing wedding gift ever, something that would make her life so much better than a big diamond on her finger.”

Speaking of private jets, many celebrities have been facing backlash recently for their reckless use of private jets.
